Dongdaemun Market, a commercial district with shopping malls and a traditional market, is set to launch the “2017 Dongdaemun Market Grand Sale” from Thursday to Saturday to attract both local and foreign customers.
The shopping malls and traditional market plan to open their shops from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. during the three-day promotion period. The market will offer products at wholesale prices, allowing customers to buy clothes at an up to 80 percent discount. Several shopping malls will also offer discount coupons to foreign visitors.
On Thursday at 8 p.m., sellers from the market will wear the clothes they sell to participate in a fashion show as models. A musical show will also take place from 10 p.m. on the same day.
